Refund policy
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase was received (according to the tracking number or the date you picked up the order), unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
For equipment including mist makers:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Customer is responsible for shipping costs to return item. 10% re-stocking fee applies. Please contact us before returning any item so we can resolve the problem and determine next steps.
For spawn/grow kits/sterilized grain/growing mediums:
Please do not ship back live items to Fungi Akuafo. If you suspect that your live item is damaged or defective, contact us immediately. We need to understand if the item was damaged in transit. If the item was damaged in transit, we may be able to apply for a shipping refund from Canada Post.
If you are not satisfied with your spawn/grow kits/sterilized grain/growing mediums, please contact us so that we can try to remedy the problem.
Workshops/Tours
If you are not able to attend the workshop/tour (online or in person), please notify us 5 days before the workshop/tour. We can issue a refund or provide you with an alternative date.
If you inform us 4 days or less before the workshop/tour, we are not able to issue a refund.
If you are attending an online workshop via Zoom, please ensure your internet and computer/device is able to connect before attending the workshop. We restrict the number of attendees in our workshops to ensure everyone has time and opportunity to ask questions.
Gift Cards
You may request a refund for gift cards within 30 days. Please contact us.
Sale Items
We do not offer exchanges or refunds on sale items. These items are shipped as is.
True Vision Ghana
All True Vision Ghana products are final sale. Proceeds from the sale of these products go to the non-profit True Vision Ghana.
Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund if necessary.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
